About this event

Every first Wednesday of the month, Max Markin (Union Suits/Redwing Blackbird) hosts 3-4 songwriters on stage at the same time and they take turns playing songs for 90 min to a 2 hour set.

ShugE is a force of nature from Minneapolis (Minnesota) who writes songs and cuts his heart out & leaves it on stages in front of audiences.

Anthony Newes is an indie pop singer-songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota who has earned a reputation for writing complex, melodic, vocal harmonies over well-crafted songs reminiscent of Nilsson, with a modern twist. Having spent nearly 20 years writing and performing in Minneapolis, Newes’ interest in unique sounds and styles has led him to a wide variety of unlikely collaborations with the likes of Brother Ali, BK-One, legendary hip-hop producer, Prince Paul, as well as members of Polica, Trampled by Turtles, Atmosphere and many others.

After years living in New Orleans, emerging singer and songwriter Clare Doyle has returned to her hometown of Saint Paul, MN ready to take the stage as a fresh Americana act. Raised on everything from Johnny Cash to Etta James, she draws on a range of influences to write honestly about loving, losing, hurting, and making a hot mess of things.
