West Bank Social Club plays every third Sunday here at Palmers. This particular one will be with special guests Lenz & Frenz + Root River..
About this event
West Bank Social Club was born at Palmers Bar on the West Bank in Minneapolis in the wake of twelve years of Sunday nights with Cornbread Harris, Cadillac Kohlstad, Nicholas David, and Myra and the Moonshiners. A group of friends with a love for the music and culture of New Orleans, the West Bank Social Club features Fitzgerald Palmer on Guitar, Ben Link and Nathan Berry on trombone, Michael Anderson on Saxophone, Chris Hepola on drums, Josh Granowski on bass, and Bobby J Marks on Vocals and Trumpet.
Lenz and Frenz can mostly be described as an improvised rowdy folk campfire jam on stage, consisting of frontman J Lenz (Pert Near Sandstone) and an everchanging line-up of musician friends. Dozens of musicians have joined J Lenz on stage over the 10+ years of this local twin cities project, bringing the campfire jam to a whole new level. Always unexpected, always a good time!
Root River Jam is an acoustic "Americana Roots" group based in SE MN. They combine musical nuances of folk, roots, rock, Celtic, blues, and classical with life's experiences of love, learning, and longing. Listeners instantly connect with expressive melodies, improv, and interaction, recalling the "Jams" of the past and renewing the dreams of the future!
THE SHOW WILL MOVE INSIDE IF THE WEATHER IS BAD. PLEASE SEE COVID TAB ABOVE ABOUT OUR COVID POLICIES BEFORE PURCHASING A TICKET.
