About this event

Impaler is a Shock Rock band formed in 1983 in St.Paul, Minnesota. Influenced by bands like Alice Cooper Group, KISS and a heathy dose of 70’s Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. Visual pop culture like pro wrestling and comic books also played a big part in Impaler’s genetic make up. The band celebrated their 39th year anniversary in 2022 and released a new album The Great Hereafter in 2021. Also in January of 2019, Impaler received a Metty Award for Lifetime Achievement in Heavy Metal Music for the state of Minnesota. Impaler has released albums worldwide on Combat Records, Roadrunner Records (Europe), Century Media and several others. They have been featured in numerous heavy metal publications, radio shows and television appearances on Twin Cities Live, KARE 11 Mornings and an episode of Minnesota Original on TBS. With founding members Bill Lindsey (vocals), And Commander Court Hawley (bass) Impaler puts on a spectacular theatrical show which features fake blood, cages, coffins, latex severed heads and a finale that includes a mock disemboweling of victims. Much to the displeasure of Tipper Gore’s PMRC and record burning ministers The Peter’s Brothers. (Some people have no sense of rock and roll theatre!) A show you will never forget! Impaler is Halloween at the speed of sound.

Formed in 1990 in Uptown Minneapolis. Tom Duclos & Chris Rowland - knowing in advance the name "Dumpster Juice" would never leave the memory or taste buds of anyone who had ever stumbled across the stuff - called upon drummer John Bigelow. After consulting with Duclos & Rowland over large quantities of alcohol the decision was made to hold an abrupt practice at Bigelows brother Kevin's Uptown apartment. Duclos, Rowland, John Bigelow & Kevin Bigelow became Dumpster Juice. In June 1992 drummer Todd Petterson answered an ad Dumpster Juice left at the drum shop he just happened to be working at and within a week Todd learned the entire collection. Current members: Rowland (Vocals), Todd Petterson (Drums), Steve Post (Bass), Kevin Bigelow (Guitar)

The Silent Treatment~ Classic punk rock noise from Minneapolis. All the subtlety of a car accident. This four piece band's commitment to the stripped down noises of confrontation will leave you yearning for the days of glowering in disgust at your family's kitchen table. The group’s EP You’re Gonna Get It (2018) and Everything's Just Fine (2021) are available on Bandcamp, and have received airplay on KFAI's Spin with Cyn. The Silent Treatment has played the Turf Club, 7th Street Entry, The Cabooze, Uptown VFW as well as the usual suspects of the Minneapolis live music scene with acts such as Dave Rave, Ol' Yeller, Little Man, The Short Fuses, and the Fret Rattles. Always loud, always fast and full of energy, the Silent Treatment is Keely Lane (Ol’ Yeller, Trailer Trash, Rich Mattson and the Northstars) on drums, Dave Randall (The Boot R&B, Kinda Kinky, The Magnolias) on bass, Rob Sells (Low Rats, Loose Rails) on guitar, and Claire Luger on vocals.
