Jonny Puder, Adam Brandt and Matt Graunke & The Crow River Rebellion

  • Palmer's Bar 500 Cedar Ave S Minneapolis, MN 55454 United States (map)

We're excited and happy to welcome some new country acts to our stage, for what's sure to make this Sunday night all honky tonking!

American country singer/songwriter Jonny Puder brings a fresh sound with classic story-telling to the country music scene. His debut single “This Good Life” was released earlier this year, but it’s his live performances that really showcase his ability to engage the crowd with his heart-wrenching unreleased originals. Alongside his tales of adventure, growth and heartache come new beginnings and perspective as a husband and father of two. Jonny has opened for acts such as Big and Rich, the Frontmen, Lonestar, Derek Jones and Karissa Ella. He is excited for 2023, as he plans to branch out nationally as well as release new songs he’s been working on over the past year.

Adam Brandt is the country music alias of songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and St. Paul Minnesota native Adam James Hildebrandt.

Adam received his first guitar from the very own Alan Jackson after his dad had won meet & greet tickets on the radio, and asked the star for a guitar. Sure enough, a few weeks later, a guitar was shipped to the family’s front steps from the country music legend.

The first single off of the debut EP Only One (In the Room) was released on April 29th 2022. The debut Red Lights (EP) was released on July 22nd and was followed by a SOLD OUT full-band EP release show at KJ’s Hideaway in downtown St. Paul with special guests Bryan Anderson and Josie Johnson.

Matt Graunke's greatest strength as a songwriter – his “secret weapon”, if you will – is Matt. Because he knows who he is, and writes from within. He’s survived cancer, is a retired firefighter, and reflects upon life as a motorcyclist searching the lone highways of the northern frontier. When you hear him sing it conjures up old ghosts and reminds you of Allman Brothers, The Black Crowes, and a whole assortment of other fine Southern-fried treats, but his songs are uniquely him. They’re autobiographical, and yet relatable. His guitar playing is aggressive, yet melodic. There’s a subtle duality to Matt that you’ll miss if you blink…but if you pay attention (and, you SHOULD), you’ll be all the better for it. So come along for the ride.
