April’s bands~

11pm~ DOGPILE is a Folk/Rock band from Minneapolis, MN. With influences ranging from John Prine to Waylon. Dogpile's unique sound blends the country & western of old with the folk renaissance of the 60s & 70s. Using this as a foundation, Dogpile pushes the limits of the Americana & Folk Rock genre.

10pm~ BETTY AND THE RUBBLE formed in early 2022 when several well seasoned Minnesota musicians came out of the pandemic with longing for a new original project.  The band consists of primary singer/songwriter Janel Hurtado on vocals and guitars, James Rechs on guitars and backing vocals, Tom Lyseng on drums, and Ryland Nelsen on bass.  They released an EP in June 2023 and have worked up a collection of covers ranging from Veruca Salt to Jenny Lewis to the Beatles and Florence and the Machine.  B n' R bring an optimistic and up beat energy to their music, recalling the feel good sounds of the Go Go's or the Bangles.

9pm~ ASTRONOMY TOWN’S indie-lounge music combines jazz, soul, indie rock, and funk to create their unique sound. They pair hypnotic rhythms with lush harmonies to create a soundscape reminiscent of a city where the residents bustle at night and the stars are always visible.
