IT’S NEW BAND NIGHT AND 2-4-1’S!

Here’s the deal. All new bands have had to have formed within the year. Some of these bands will be playing their very first shows ever! The cost is a cheap $5 and the 100% of the door will go to the bands to split up.

2-4-1’s~ and yes for you, our dear patrons, all rail and tap beers will be 2-4-1’s from 9pm until midnight.

So come on out and cheer on some newbie bands on the cheap!

July’s Line-Up: The Chalk Boys, Cattlesnake, Big Into and Talmage Alien

8:00 The Chalk Boys~ are a new blues rock/soul band from Minneapolis, MN. Their members include Magdalene (singer, also known as chalkman), Maia (guitar), Sydney (Bass), Jack (drums), and Bella (keyboard). The Chalk Boys formed in early 2024 and are thrilled to share their new original music with you. Check them out on Instagram @thechalkboys_ for more info on upcoming shows.

9:00 Cattlesnake~ Minneapolis based band cattlesnake is trying to make the best of it. The three veteran Minnesota musicians recently retreated to the Sparta Sound Studios up on the Iron Range to record and release their debut album "The Howl & Beyond." Dealing with the death of close friends, family members, and beloved pets, the album tackles themes of loss and isolation with a unique blend of alt-rock, grunge, and surf-punk.

10:00 BIG INTO~ BIG INTO formed in the twin cities when drummer Curtis Kraft Mattson moved from Duluth to St. Paul. Kraft Mattson collaborated with fellow indie-rock veteran Jozef Conaway to create a unique indie rock sound as a two piece. Conaway's 12 string guitar with his unique effects have a bold ability to sound like a bass and many guitars, when it's just him up there, in front of Kraft Mattson's notable intense blasting of the drums. BIG INTO is inspired by the songwriting ability of Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock, the vibes of Ty Segall and the energy of Thee Oh Sees.

11:00 Talmage Alien~ Talmage Alien is a melodic post-emo / quasi punk / shoegaze / anti-genre / rib-fest rock "band" assembled from the dryer lint in your wet little basement. We are influenced by bball in the park, urban turkeys, universal love and yr mom.
