IT’S NEW BAND NIGHT!

Here’s the deal. All new bands have had to have formed within the year. Some of these bands will be playing their very first shows ever! The cost is a cheap $5 and the 100% of the door will go to the bands to split up.

So come on out and cheer on some newbie bands on the cheap!

7:15~ Not Your Baby~ is an indie-alternative band out of Northeast Minneapolis. They first bonded over their mutual love of 90's alt and 00's pop-rock. Four of NYB’s members are songwriters, combining their distinct Indie, Punk, Acoustic, and Emo signature styles into eclectic, genre-busting songs, reminiscent of Pixies. The band is shaking up the traditional concept of a rock band by trading instruments, featuring multiple “lead” singers, and applying general queer chaos. If you want to rock out, cry, and dance–a Not Your Baby show is the one for you. They might not be your baby, but you are certainly theirs.

10:15 Damn Phibian~ Damn Phibian are an eclectic indie rock band from MPLS! We formed at the beginning of the year from a collection of nerdy, cat-lovin MPLS transplants who bonded over their love for late-90s Radiohead, Ween, and Wilco. We wanna dance and be a little weird and maybe, just maybe, tap into the universal experience that makes us yearn. Do you ever yearn, Jerry?

11:15 Basement Heros~ We are the Basement Heroes. We are a duo that has known each other for over 20 years that wants to jam out and create high energy music. Our music is powered with high energy distorted guitars and complex bass scales, along with keyboard and other electronic effects. We strive to create music with a DYI philosophy that is creative, catchy, and unique. Our influences range from Blink 182, to Sunny Day Real Estate, to The Chemical Brothers.
