Luke Callen is originally from the river town of La Crosse, WI and currently lives in Minneapolis, MN. A teller of tall tales and a singer of short tunes-Luke lugs around a couple of guitars-a few harmonicas and even a banjo if he has to.
The Foxgloves are an all-female Americana band from the Twin Cities. Their high energy performances, heartfelt storytelling, four-part harmonies, and unique instrumentation have swept them onto big stages throughout the region, including Blue Ox Music Festival as the winners of the 2021 Virtual Band Competition and Big Top Chautauqua. Their debut self-titled EP was released in June of 2021 and their first full-length album was released in September 2022. This powerful band is making moves you’ll want to witness.
Long Mama’s music blisters with the heart and grit of someone who has lost hard, loved harder, and licked her burns until they stung then silvered. In a drafty attic just west of the Milwaukee River she grew up on, you’ll find songwriter Kat Wodtke (Wood-key) raking through notebooks in search of a salve: words, stories, and sounds to temper the dumpster fires we never mean to light. Flickering behind each song is Wodtke’s lived insight into our human faults & fissures – the moments in life when we can slip and lose our footing, or claw our way out…better people on the other side of the blaze.
Wolf van Elfmand makes songs and plays the guitar. His music explores genres within the realm of Americana from finger- picking country to good ol’ fashioned rock & roll. 2021 has been a busy year at Wolf HQ, he released 2 albums on top of recently resettling in Brooklyn after a long stint in Colorado. A live Wolf show is sure to make you smile, and possibly think, but not too hard
IF WEATHER TURNS TO SHIT THE SHOW MOVES INSIDE.
