  • Palmer's Bar 500 Cedar Ave S Minneapolis, MN 55454 United States (map)

Fast, Furious, and FUN! Get ready for a punk rockin night filled with Buttery Leaders, and Surly Monsters. Rock the Socks off your feet!

Unattractive Giant Monster mutated and grew from the depths of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Absorbing all kinds of punk rock from Devo to Diarrhea Planet and bonding over the cosmic comedic gumbo of Tim Robinson, these 5 dudes formed to create an unstoppable musical monster! Their debut EP, Return of the Attack of the Mutant Pizza, is now streaming everywhere!

Butter Boys are a Minneapolis rock band writing songs about good times, bad times, and not turning in your homework. Mixing pop sensibilities with punk attitude, the Butter Boys will loudly and proudly give you all the permission you require to dance, headbang, and sing into your hairbrush microphone.

Surly Grrly is a MPLS-based queercore punk band that likes to have fun while loudly fucking the patriarchy. Their live shows are filled with rage, passion, and politically-driven lyrics addressing bigotry, queerness, and misogyny. Vocalist Medbh McNamara and guitarist Eloïse Boigenzahn, both multi-instrumentalists, are joined by a rotating cast of band members on bass and drums (most recently, bassist Lou Levy and drummer Peter Korhonen).

Loss Leader have been blasting melodic punk across the Midwest since the winter of 2017. Originally formed by members Tim (guitar/vocals), Andy (drums), and Brandon (bass), the trio were joined by Scott (guitar, former Butcher’s Union) in the winter of 2022. The quartet rocks harder than ever now and has big plans for 2023. Loss Leader have shared the stage with such acts as A Wilhelm Scream, Pkew Pkew Pkew, Brendan Kelly, Make War and Off With Their Heads, as well as countless local friends and bands. They released their first album, True North (with artwork by Jared Gaines), in the summer of 2019 and are currently recording a follow-up full-length. Both albums are recorded by Andy Mathison (Immortal Audio/Class of ‘86). Fans of Hot Water Music, Lawrence Arms, and Leatherface will enjoy Loss Leader’s brand of melodic punk rock. Loss Leader is regularly playing shows and headed your way soon. In the meantime you can find them on all streaming and social media platforms (IG: @lossleadermpls) or at their website
