Minnesota's own Shaiana Ginae, born April 21, 1994. Birth name Qieshaiana Ginae Pierson-Sanders. Music came natural for her coming from a family of musicians, writers, singers, rappers and poets. Shaiana was highly influenced by her family. From the likes of her grandmother being a classical pianist and singing background for Little Richard. Also her grandfather playing saxophone for the Ike and Tina band. Growing up in the household niece of R.L. from the platinum selling R&B group "Next" was just icing on the cake. Shaiana was taught at an early age to be an artist over a singer, learn your craft and perfect it and indeed she did. Understanding and training her distinctive genetically raspy baritone voice took much time to encapsulate. Her uncle R.L dealt with the same exact issues. Studying the likes of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Lauren Hill, Mary J. Blige and the legendary Etta James. Shaiana tried herself for the first time in the choir at United Faith Pentecostal Church located in Minneapolis where she fell in love with music.
