We're coming in hot on a Tuesday with this Summer Sizzler of a show with Scrunchies and their friends from Ohio, Strobobean!

Scrunchies is a “post-everything” rock band formed by guitarist Laura Larson (Baby Guts, Kitten Forever) with drummer Danielle Cusack (Bruise Violet) after a mutual admiration of each others' bands as well as a shared commitment to DIY ethos. They are joined by Matt Castore (Condominium) on bass. Castore, a revered underground music engineer who has recorded a number of Larson’s bands over the years, recorded Scrunchies’ first album, Stunner, and sophomore follow-up, Feral Coast. The trio brings a loud and energetic live set, recalling the messy and cathartic energy of late '80s grunge, punk, and post-punk bands; with heavy and melodic rock scorchers with surrealist lyrics that explore the personal and political.
