Minneapolis band, Sigcell, embraces their shapeshifting ways and returns with Transhuman, an album miles from the alt‐americana sound of 2019’s Pile of Ghosts but just around the corner and down a dirty alley from their densely electronic-rock debut, The Poet. Drawn from the band’s many influences such as Pixies, Elbow, Smashing Pumpkins, and The Cure, Transhuman evolves the traditions of alt, psych, and prog rock.
Clidesfeld is a musical project formed in 2004 by multi-instrumentalist Brandon Patrick Sullivan in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With a strong do-it-yourself mentality and a diverse sonic palette rooted in alternative rock, post-punk, and electronica, Clidesfeld tells layered personal stories of dysfunction and estrangement through irony and allegory.
