Join us for a killer night of Rock and Roll inspired Alt-Country and Roots performed by some bad ass local bands!
Greg Volker is a Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter guitarist and grandson of Ted Ptashne, former Concert Master of The Minnesota Orchestra.
Volker’s music traverses a musical landscape filled with long, thick shadows and flashes of blinding light.Sometimes soft and gentle and at other times jagged and raw, Volker’s music inspires comparisons to the honest and unruly magic of Neil Young and the sonic propulsion of My Morning Jacket. Their sound shares a deep reverence and kinship with alt-country bands of the 90s including The Jayhawks and Son Volt. At its core, American roots music remains the singular force uniting and guiding Volker’s vision with influences like Gillian Welch and Steve Earle.
Matt Arthur is a southern Minnesota blind man with a voice like Johnny Cash and a band like The Band.
Nathan Griner’s style has a huge range of passion and grit. He also has a very unique show to experience. Nathan has never been an artist that has been boxed into one specific genre. His sound is as raw as Neil Young and as fun and energetic as the Lumineers, mixed into a style all his own. His take on the obscure covers and his songwriting abilities leave audiences wanting to hear more.
