2024 Plamtoberfest
Come celebrate all things beer as we hold the 2nd Annual Palmtoberfest. We have lined up some of the best Tributes in the cities including a Tribute to Minneapolis own Manplanet, featuring all original members of Manplanet!!! Music starts at 4:30 on the patio.
4:30pm Monsters In Your Parasol - ‘Tribute to Queens Of The Stone Age’- A tribute band dedicated to sharing the raw energy, intricate melodies, and driving rhythms of Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA). With a deep respect for the original material Monsters In Your Parasol live shows are a journey through QOTSA's extensive catalog, from the hard-hitting classics to the atmospheric deep cuts. Fans can expect to hear powerful performances of songs like "No One Knows," "Feel Good Hits Of The Summer," "Song For The Dead", "Make It Wit Chu," and of course, "Monsters In The Parasol."
5:30 Jailbreak - ‘Tribute to Thin Lizzy’- Born as a winning one-off Battle of the Bands project, Jailbreak! is the Twin Cities' best and, quite possibly only, Thin Lizzy tribute band. David Green, Randy Kramer, Don Diez, and Kent Militzer bring decades of musicianship, and a true love of the band, in salute to some of the greatest rock songs of all time. Bring your shred-proof earplugs and be prepared for the dual guitar rock onslaught.
7pm Smile Like You Mean It - ‘Tribute to the Killers’- SMILE like you mean it! Minneapolis based tribute to The Killers
8:30 Rattle And Hum ‘Tribute to U2’ Rattle and Hum is a band with a passion for the band that has defined passion for four decades and counting…U2. With almost six decades of collective music and performance experience, the members of Rattle and Hum are highly experienced musicians who strive to offer the most engaging and inspiring U2 experience possible. Rattle and Hum’s repertoire includes the majority of U2’s catalog, from their greatest hits such as One, Beautiful Day, and Pride in the Name of Love, to deep cuts from U2’s earliest albums, longstanding fan favorites and rarities.
10:15 (Inside) Skylab - ‘Tribute to Manplanet’ (featuring all original members) were a band out of Minneapolis around the early 2000's. The Space Rock tour took the band across 47 different galaxies and 32 separate dimensions over a period of 10 years. Now in this dimension a Skylab holding all four original members Jefferson White, Granite Planet, Pete Green and Tim Crimson is heading Back To Earth to Tribute the songs of Manplanet on the stage at Palmer's Bar. All Systems Go for a special night that is sure to be truly Out Of This World.
