  • Palmer's Bar 500 Cedar Ave S Minneapolis, MN 55454 United States (map)

A night of super fun indierock and punk bands! Doors 7pm. Showtime 8pm $10!

Doors 7pm

8pm The Cameras~ are a psychedelic pop outfit from Minneapolis, MN. They create original compositions that capture emotions and visions through their own unique musical lens. Smile for the Cameras!

9pm Big Delicious~ The self-proclaimed "Willy Wonkas of indie rock", Big Delicious is an up-and-coming band in the local Twin Cities scene. Drawing from a wide musical palate, their music is an ideal blend of high energy, Dr. Suess lyricism, and great tunes. Big Delicious is not a band you want to miss.

10pm Sweet Pea (formerly named Jackie Kean) ~ is bustin’ out the pod and onto minneapolis stages with their collection of wirey, energetic pop tunes—occasionally played at frenetic tempos! Don’t miss a chance to see these pretty boys play

11pm True Lust~ Combining the "glitz" and "glamour" of the 1980s New Romantic movement with the beluga whale guitars of Real Estate and the street smarts (or are they?) of Richard Hell & the Voidoids, here come True Lust.

12am Pure Shifter~ core songwriter, career nobody John Genz, has been playing and home recording for years, quietly reshaping his set from Mountain Goats-influenced guitar demos into wide-screen electro-punk tooth-rattlers. The music filters snarkily intellectual indie/punk ethos through a modern electronic/dance prism. The resulting songs range from acerbic disco think-pieces, oblique bangers, and earnestly reflective psych-pop grooves.
