9pm Pity Party~ is a Minneapolis based indie rock band. They have spent the last year writing new music and performing at local venues around the twin cities. They have been compared to the likes of Muse, Peach Pit, and Mitski. They’re excited to be back on stage opening for Parlour Magic at Palmer’s!
10 Enemy in the Sky~ is an electropop duo from Rochester, MN making emotionally honest synth-pop with a nostalgic twist. Kara Dupuy (ex-Boys Night Out) brings the keys and big feelings; Eric Kramlinger fine-tunes snares like his life depends on it.
11 Parlour Magic~ Parlour Magic is a vintage synthpop project led by NYC-based producer, composer, and media artist Luc Bokor-Smith.
Warm analog synths wth guitars and basses played by German multi-instrumentalist Florian Stepper form a vivid backdrop for Bokor-Smith’s rich vocal performances. His lyrics, centering around recurring themes of passing time and fading memories.
The new album has a vintage, filmic aesthetic – inspired by lead single “Super Eight.” All of the promotional video material for the album was shot on 8 millimeter and 16 millimeter motion picture film, including the music video for “Super Eight," which was shot in Berlin and New York. Reflecting both Bokor-Smith’s history of creating multimedia art and his passion for analog photography, tremendous care and effort have been taken in crafting the visual presentation of both the album and the live show.
