Alpine Shepard Boy~ started as the project of songwriter Thomas Schroeder in 2019. After several years of quiet development as an unofficial recording project, Alpine Shepherd Boy now emerges into the Minneapolis scene with bassist Ogden Miller and drummer John Bruch. The trio is driven by the desire to create novel indie rock with elements of jazz and folk, all underpinned by lush shoegaze experimentation. Their sound is melodic, contemplative, and just a little bit heavy.
